Joy is the perfect easy-to-wear dress. A versatile addition to your summer wardrobe, comfortable and yet smart enough for any occasion. Your choice of fabric will mean Joy can be casual and fun or choose a luxurious silky fabric in a fabulous print to make a chic statement dress. Joy could even be layered over a skinny t-shirt or roll neck on cooler days.
Joy is a slim A-line shape with a relaxed fit through the waist, (optional) in-seam pockets, frilled hem, and tie straps. Version B has a little more ease due to the gathering detail on the back bodice.
Suggested Fabrics:
Light to medium weight fabrics such as crepe de chine, bamboo silk, viscose, rayon, chambray, linen, double gauze, cotton lawn, poplin, broderie anglaise and lighter weight denims. A draper fabric will perform better for the back gathering detail on version B.

- Iron on fusible interfacing 50cm x 90cm wide (20" x 36") or ready made fusible stay tape.
- If using ready made fusible stay tape you will need a piece of interfacing 10cm wide by 20cm (4" x 8") for the pocket mouth opening.
